Account Director, Barclays
(6-month fixed-term contract)


We are looking to appoint an Account Director on Barclays to work with the existing account team. Initially on a 6-month fixed contract, but with a view to making a full-time appointment at a later point.

This is a varied and exciting account, where you will work across multiple marketing channels in both print and digital.

The role requires strong, proven client-handling experience and the ability to organise a complex account; excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to work efficiently and smoothly under deadline pressure; and the capability to develop and help lead a multi-layered project.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Day-to-day management of the account
  • Close liaison with clients to develop a strong working relationship
  • Financial management of the account
  • Working in partnership with the creative team
  • Development of future strategy of existing and new business
  • Ensuring best practice on the account and delivery to a high standard

Managing Editor, Barclays
(6-month fixed-term contract)


We are looking to appoint an Managing Editor on Barclays. Initially on a 6-month fixed contract, but with a view to making a full-time appointment at a later point.

This is a varied and exciting account, where you will work across multiple marketing channels in both print and digital.

The role requires excellent organisational skills to manage a variety of simultaneous schedules; the ability to work efficiently and smoothly under deadline pressure; a strong understanding of the creative process, both print and digital; strong personal skills to motivate and manage the editorial team, and keep clients informed and inspired.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Creating and managing the schedules for all projects
  • Working closely with the creative teams to ensure smooth workflow and strongest output
  • Liaising with clients and the account team over timings and managing the approval process
  • Ensuring the continual maintenance of high editorial standards and correct brand fit across all output
  • Helping with page subbing, headline writing and copy polishing
