Boots Health Club mini-magazines

There are eight different Health Club mini-magazines – Women's health, Vitamins and supplements, Kids' health, Weight loss and healthy eating, Pain relief, Healthy heart, Stop smoking and Allergies – all providing 'white-coat-authority' content on relevant issues in a short A5-size format.

Members also receive a generic health mini-magazine, either a Welcome or Update depending on whether they are new or existing members, informing them about Boots healthcare services and offers. Their additional aim is to help build the overall Club feel.

Change One Thing (COT)

In 2007 Boots' Change One Thing campaign established its 'Pledge, plan and persist' message with five pocket planners covering Stop smoking, Lose weight, Look great, Feel healthier and Feel happier. This year these principles still apply, although COT's focus is on 'achieving your goals'.

The action plans (pocket planners) in the 2008 campaign cover Weight loss, Stop smoking, Healthier skin and Healthier lifestyle. Each gives supportive advice and information, with input from high-profile experts. There are motivational quizzes, encouraging readers to understand how to approach their change, as well as product solutions.

Online there will be case studies from people who made the change last year, as well as interactive elements such as blogs, forums to share ideas and invitations to find a buddy.
